Our family getaway to London, where we took a private tour of Borough Market with a professional chef and cookbook author. Not only did we get to  drink and taste our way through Britain and beyond in an afternoon - we learned fascinating insights into the culture and history that fuels Europe's culinary traditions (and I'm still dreaming about that delicious Iberico ham).

Our romantic trip to Scotland where we indulged in all our senses; with the sights of the incredibly beautiful landscape, in the pine scented air we breathed in, the taste of the seafood fresh from the ocean, that 20 year old whisky we sipped, the touch of the indulgent hotels we stayed at, and most importantly, we indulged ourselves with the time we spent reconnecting with each other.

Our group trip up into the Swiss Alps, where we checked into a charming alpine hotel that's been in the same family for generations. The hotel owner, himself, took our group up the snow-covered mountains in a horse-drawn carriage and then we hiked downhill, stopping to visit small alpine villages and take in the beautiful scenery.
